Cody Smithers

Cody Smithers serves as Business Development Manager for VERUS Real Estate Advisors where he manages research projects, investment analysis and other assignments that support the clients of VERUS.

Additionally, Cody is a Business Analyst with Y Street Ventures, a private investment company. Prior to VERUS, Cody was a mortgage loan specialist with Nationstar Mortgage.

Cody served in the U.S. Coast Guard where he was an investigator and inspector. He led various teams on pollution spills and marine casualties.

Cody earned an MBA from Texas Christian University in Corporate Finance and a BBA from Florida State University in Business Administration.
